Hiking around the Rosengarten - over the Tschagerjoch to Passo Cigolade

Passo Coronelle, Passo Cigolade and Passo Vajolon offer hiking adventures

A very nice hike in the Eggental leads over the Tschagerjoch around the Rosengarten! Shorty passages, secured by a rope, facilitate the ascent and lead to the vast high plateau, where begins the ascend of Passo Coronelle.

We take the chairlift to the Rifugio Fronza an hike from there in 50 min., sometimes steeply uphill, to the Passo Coronelle. The short, rope-secured places require a little strenght and some higher steps, On the bench at the Tschagerjoch we stop for a short rest and enjoy the view in the Vajolet valley and the surrounding Dolomites. Then we climb over some steep, screeching places to the junction Passo Cigolade. Now we are looking foward  to our well deserrved, late lunch in the Rifugio Vael.

Bergheil! - it was a beautiful hiking in the Dolomites!
