Fantastically beautiful hike with dog on the Latemar

We take a medium difficult, unforgettable hike to the Latemar towers with our dog.

We start at the bottom station of the 4-seater chairlift Oberholz in Obereggen, the dog lying in the middle on the wide seat. From there we hike on route no. 18 in about 2 hours to the Gamsstall Scharte. With a bit of time, here we can find ammonites and cow kick mussels. We climb out of this gap over the gully and enjoy the view into the huge Valsorda Kessel, on the Torre Diamantidi and the Latemar peak. Then we walk on path no. 516 on the crooked "Pisa tower" in the middle of the Torri del Latemar, with the big rock window. Our way leads us direktly to the Rifugio Torre di Pisa (2.686m), where we take our well deserved lunch. The view of the surrounding mountains is majestic. On route no. 22 we return to the starting point and we are pleased that our dogs ran so well and we all were able to experience a wonderful hiking day with them!
